On their annual bike ride, around 125 members of the association “De Vrienden van het Zoute” recently visited the For Freedom Museum, in Ramskapelle, Knokke-Heist. The weather gods were not present that morning and refreshment was more than welcome for the sporting group.
Curators Freddy and Danny Jones welcomed everyone and gave the chairman and vice-chairman of “The Friends of the Zoute” a short introduction to the origin, theme and purpose of the For Freedom Museum.
Mr. Emmanuel van Innis and Mrs. Violaine Muûls had brought a pleasant surprise to the FF Museum.
In the presence of all members, a cheque worth 2,500€ was presented. This fine sum was gratefully accepted by both curators.
This donation will be spent on expanding the audio experience. This needs to be amended urgently due to recent enlargements.
The board of “De Vrienden van het Zoute” promised to keep the For Freedom Museum in mind and to maintain support for the future.
Of course, this is a welcome gift, for which the For Freedom Museum can only be very grateful!
This is also a motivation to remain committed to the quality and appearance of the museum.
